Re-Usable {And Reversible}
Swiffer Sweeper Pad
~A Free Crochet Pattern~
All Rights Reserved
Did you happen to see my last pattern, the reusable Swiffer Sweeper Pad? After writing up and releasing that pattern I had the idea to make a reversible cleaning pad. Makes sense right? Why only have one that mops? Most of us sweep before mopping right? This reusable swiffer pad can be used wet (for mopping) or dry (for sweeping). *Side note- I don't suggest using it for sweeping and then immediately using it for mopping right after. The dirt collected from the sweeping side would probably make the mop water dirty. I would suggest, however, to make at least 2 of the reversible pads then you can choose which to use for sweeping and which to use for mopping.*
I consider this pattern to be an intermediate pattern due to the more advanced stitches used (the loop stitch and the bobble stitch). If you are looking for a more beginner friendly pattern, please consider checking out the reusable swiffer sweeper pad pattern. As always, I hope you like this pattern and if you do, please consider sharing this post with your crochet friends! If you happen to come across a mistake in the pattern please let me know either by commenting at the end of this post, sending me a message on ravelry, or sending a message on Facebook. Special Stitches:
Bobble:
-Yarn over, insert hook into stitch and pull up a loop. Yarn over, pull through two loops.
-Repeat in the same stitch/space until you have a total of 6 loops on your hook.
-Yarn over, pull through all 6 loops.
Loop Stitch:
-Grasp the yarn with your left hand and, with your right hand, wrap the yarn clockwise around your left index finger to make a loop. Insert the hook into the stitch. Rotate the hook clockwise — in the opposite direction from the way you usually would — so it goes over the yarn.
-Pass the hook behind the yarn held by your left index finger. Catch yarn with the hook and pull through.
-Yo, pull through all loops on hook.
